It’s winter specials time in Cape Town and, for the next few months, in addition to listing them on a summarised winter specials page, I’ll be posting short articles with the details of these awesome specials that allow us ordinary folk to indulge in some fine dining for a much lower price.

Today’s featured special is the Jonkershuis Cape Malay Winter Buffet:

Jonkershuis Restaurant in Groot Constantia has reintroduced their Cape Malay Winter Buffet.  From the 1st of May until the 31st of August ’09 (weekdays, 6pm-9m), you’ll be able to take advantage of the special winter menu.

There are two options available:

• R98pp – 2 courses from the buffet (starter and main)
• R110pp – 2 courses from the buffet and a plated dessert!
