A new source of things organic! The guys from Wild Organic Foods emailed me to let me know about the opening of their Woodstock-based ‘Wild Trading Store’ this weekend.
The company already supplies organic fruit and vegetables to Melissas and individuals in the Western Cape, but is now additionally launching an organic shop, open to the public.
Opening day is tomorrow, Saturday 28 June, from 8am to 12.30 pm at 34 Salisbury Street, cnr Fairview Avenue, Woodstock.
“Come and enjoy fresh, local, seasonal, organic fruit, vegetables & herbs, breads, croissants, cheeses, eggs, hot soup, tea, coffee, fresh flowers, bottled goods, dried goods, nuts, olive oil and environmentally friendly cleaning products.”
The store will thereafter be open on the first and last Saturday of each month (presumably from 8am to 12.30pm) and every Wednesday from 15h00-18h00. So, if you have mid-week organic food cravings, this one’s for you!
The Wild Trading Store is located at 34 Salisbury Street, cnr Fairview Avenue, Woodstock (turn off Roodebloem Road at the All Saints Church). Tel 021 448 8109.
