** COMPETITION CLOSED **.
Yeah, I know.
Valentine’s Day is the epitome of schmaltz, the pinnacle of commercial silliness.
But you know what, so what!
As long as it’s not about being ‘guilted’ into buying someone something red or pink or chocolate-based, it can be good fun.
And I reckon a few fab prizes like the ones I’ve managed to get from my very generous sponsors oughta tickle everyone’s fancy.
So, here’s the sweet scoop: there are 3 different prizes up for grabs, and 7 days in which you possibly maybe might win one of them.
I ask you a few entry questions, you send me your details – you go into the draw, which will be held on Thursday the 12th of February.
But first, the prizes…
1st PRIZE: Librisa Spa ‘Energy Massage’
One of the specialty massages at the fabulous Librisa Spa at the Mount Nelson Hotel…
“A holistic experience to balance body, mind and spirit. A blend of black pepper, rosemary essential oil and shea butter is applied using long rhythmical strokes. Working intuitively with your body, your therapist incorporates the wisdom of natural colour crystals, known to balance and energise the body.”
Mmmmhmmm… that sure sounds good, doesn’t it. I had a look around the spa recently, and it truly is beautiful. And, something I really liked: two of the spa’s signature product ranges are the locally produced Africology and Victorian Garden ranges (natural and organic!)
2nd Prize: A NUI product hamper from Natural Organic Life
Natural Organic Life is a new and exciting online shopping alternative offering natural and organic food (including a variety of wheat, gluten and dairy free alternatives) as well as products for body care, baby, household and herbal pet supplements at competitive prices.
They’ve put together a special Valentines hamper of NUI organic goodies just for you!
3rd PRIZE: A picnic voucher from Dial-a-picnic, to the value of R250
Dial-a-Picnic provides picnics to order for all kinds of occasions (not just Valentine’s Day!). They try to use only local produce wherever possible, and are big on organic ingredients!
“Dial-A-Picnic gives you a way to just slow life down, un-plug and rediscover the simple pleasures of fresh air, nature’s beauty, delicious food and the company of loved ones.”
If that the thought of all that good stuff doesn’t melt the cynic in you just a teensy little, nothing will!
Competition closes midnight on Wednesday 11 February 2009. One entry per person, only.
