* UPDATE (24.Dec.2009): unfortunately, the Eden Market has since been cancelled. *

Spring has sprung, and in its wake some markets return from winter slumber and, best of all, shiny new markets are born.  This coming weekend sees the launch of two new food and craft markets:  the Natural Goods Market at Century City, and the Gourmet Food, Art & Craft Market at Eden on the Bay (Big Bay).

I don’t get to Century City much, if ever, being an avoider of malls, but I like that there’s an outdoor option for those who do go:

NaturalGoodsMarketThe Century City Natural Goods Market is an outdoor market to be held at Central Park in the heart of Century City on 4 October 2009.

The market is to offer quality products and produce presented in a relaxing friendly environment. You can browse the numerous stalls looking for that unique gift or handmade treasure and then relax with a coffee and some delicious fare.

You’ll find an assortment of unique high quality traders selling a range of locally produced fresh, gourmet produce, organic goods, home bakes, preserves, wine, clothing, art, natural health and beauty products and quality crafts. There is ample parking.  Come and enjoy a family atmosphere.

Dates: First Sunday of every month, starting 4 October 2009.
Times: 9am-3pm
Location: Central Park, Park Lane in Century City (follow Intaka Island signs)
