Strawberry & Jazz Fest @ Stellenbosch Fresh Goods Market

This is an awesome little celebration of all things strawberry at the Stellenbosch Fresh Goods Market.  I went last year, and it was fantastic!  I can only imagine in its new venue, at the Oude Libertas, it’s likely to be even better this year.

The Stellenbosch Fresh Goods Market situated at the Oude Libertas in Stellenbosch hosts a stage for Food, Wine, Theatre and Creative Arts.

This authentic Slow Food market supports over 100 find high-quality specialty producers, food artisans, local and regional farmers, natural and organic merchants, seasonal goods, responsible and sustainable enterprises and fine-food purveyors.

The market has become an institution in the region and a very popular Saturday morning destination for local families and tourists alike. Surrounded by the lengendary oak trees and vineyards of the Stellenbosch winelands we regularly host cheese-making workshops, bread-baking, food & wine-pairings and regular themed markets to showcase seasonal products.

We are celebrating summer with our popular Strawberry & Jazz Fair on the 7th November so come enjoy the local champagnes and strawberries whilst lazing on the beautiful picnic lawns listening to the sounds of jazz musicians. The Hearth Fair has also been incorporating on the first Saturday of every month which is a market for “hot of the press’ designer goods and fashion.

Come share in our best kept secret and come see what true South African locals love to do.

Market Hours: Every Saturday 09h00-14h00
