Starlight Classics at Vergelegen 2012


Vergelegen once again hosts the popular Starlight Classics event on its great lawn, featuring orchestral and choral music.  Tickets available via Computicket.

Light classical concert under the stars, with a line-up of popular local performers, featuring The Cape Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Richard Cock.
Celebrate exceptional musical talent under the stars, with Joseph Clark – Performer extraordinaire in a tribute to Freddie Mercury; sensational soprano Kelebogile Boikanyo, who recently played the role of Musetta in Opera Afrika`s Nomfundo Xaluva – dynamic songbird and Charlize Berg – talented 19 year old Afrikaans vocalist.

Accompanied by The Cape Philharmonic Orchestra and SA Youth Choir; with dancers from CT Ballet Company and Ubunti B-boys; this line-up promises a magical mix of Afro-symphonic music and dance, showcasing RMB`s philosophy and commitment to supporting young talent, under the creative baton of Musical Director Richard Cock and Show Director Ian von Memerty.
