The Nitida Farmers’ Market is an awesome authentic fresh produce market out in the Durbanville area.
It operates once a month, on the last Saturday of every month (except December) at the Nitida Wine Estate, and you’ll find everything from artisan breads, to home-made pickles, free range eggs, fresh organic vegetables, organic seedlings and all the good stuff you could hope for.
It’s a fabulous way to spend a Saturday morning, and this month they’re having a special Christmas market, running over two days instead of one:
Join us at our Christmas Market …
Friday, 28th of November from 16h30 – 20h30.
During this time you will be entertained by Welgemoed Primary’s Junior Choir
singing Christmas CarolsOr come for breakfast on Saturday morning – 29th – from 07h30 to 12h00
What will you find here at Nitida?
A real Farmers’ Market with a touch of specially selected crafts & the old favourites to fill the cupboards for the festive season.Do your Christmas shopping in these tranquil surroundings… a glass of Sauvignon Blanc to reward you for your hard work & some ready/have it right now foods: flavoursome curries, appetizing wraps, mouth-watering salads & many more to choose from.
Hmmmm… soulless mall (complete with tinny Christmas carols) vs earthy outdoor Christmas Market (complete with gourmet goodies and friendly farmers)… there really is NO contest, is there?
