New food market for Tokai

June 3, 2009 |  by  |  City News, Markets - Food & Crafts  |  Share

Food market fans in the area around Tokai will happy to hear that there’s a new one set to launch there this coming July.  It’ll be an indoor market, so no weather issues as we head into what looks to be a rather damp winter.  And, unusually, the market will run on both a weekday (Wednesday) and over the weekend (Saturdays).

Here’s the skinny:

A top quality food market opening on the 4th July in Tokai (next to Builders Warehouse) is looking for traders specialising in excellent quality, local and organic produce. It is an indoor market and will be open on a Wednesday from 14h00 4pm-8pm and on a Saturday from 9am-2.30pm.

The market aims to provide people with top quality products and a great place to do their weekly shopping whilst creating moments of magic for all involved.

If you have a great product and you wish to trade at the market please email: jacqui@earthfairmarket.co.za

I’ve etched the opening date into my diary, of course… and I’ll be very interested to see what’s on offer – the proof of the pudding is in the eating, after all!
