Kirstenbosch Craft Market

September 25, 2009 |  by  |  What's On  |  Share

The Craft Market takes place on the last Sunday of the month, except for closing in June, July and August (winter) and in December when the market takes place on two Sundays. Hours are from 9 am to 3 pm, and entrance is free. The venue is the grounds of the Kirstenbosch Stone Cottages, corner Kirstenbosch Drive and Rhodes Avenue, diagonally opposite the main entrance to Kirstenbosch Gardens.

The market consists of approximately 180 crafters who sell original, hand-crafted goods of a very high quality. A large variety of refreshments are available, and pony rides are very popular with children. Proceeds from stall rentals go to the Development Fund for Kirstenbosch Gardens.

Market dates for 2010: 26 September; 31 October; 28 November; 12 and 19 December.
