Kirstenbosch Concerts 2012/2013 Season

The start of the 2012/2013 Kirstenbosch Summer Concert season is less than two weeks away!  The new run kicks off on Sunday the 25th of November 2012 with Daniel Bedingfield, and as always features a host of fabulous local musical talents. Alongside regulars like Zebra and Giraffe (9 December 2012), The Parlotones (13 January 2013) and Goldfish (3 March 2013), there are also some exciting new additions such as Yoav & Tailor (30 December 2012),  Jeremy Loops (10 March 2013) and Shadowclub & Gangs of Ballet (24 March 2013).

If movies are more your style though, or you don’t like big concert crowds, you might prefer the Galileo Open Air Cinema, which also launches next week (21 November 2012) and will run weekly throughout the summer months (last show 24 April 2012).

Dates & Times:  Every Sunday from 25 November 2011 until 07 April 2012.  5.30pm – 7pm (Gates open at 4pm). Bad weather may cancel.
Cost:  Ticket prices vary. See below for individual prices.

How to book tickets: Online bookings can be made at www.webtickets.co.za. Redeem your e-ticket at the Kirstenbosch Ticket Office. Over-the-counter tickets go on sale on the Tuesday preceding each concert, from the Visitor’s Centre Ticket Office only. On Sunday tickets will be available at all three entrances. Telephone bookings (021 761 2866) can be made from the Tuesday before each concert, with an administration fee of R10 per ticket applicable.
