The self-proclaimed biggest gift and garden fair in the southern suburbs will be held at Simon’s Restaurant at Groot Constantia between 26 – 29 October, i.e. next Monday – Thursday.
The fair will be open from 9am until 7pm, except on 29 October where it’ll close at 5pm. Amongst the items for sale will be a selection of fabulous home and garden accessories, delicious deli treats, stunning gifts and sensational fashion items!
R20 gains you entrance, 100% of which goes towards Red Cross War Memorial Child’s Hospital. Luckily, credit card facilities are also available.
I must say, they couldn’t have chosen a more picturesque venue. If the weather holds out, gift fair-goers are in for a real treat.

I do not know as yet whether the market will be on again this year but judging by the success of last year’s market (purely subjective – I had a lovely time!), I’m sure it will be. I’ve just had word that the new dates for this year are 9-23 October 2011. It will be held at SARDA (South African Riding for Disabled Association).
