The Constantia Waldorf Night Market kicks off its new summer season on Friday 28 Oct 2011 from 5 to 9 pm in the fabulously scenic grounds of Constantia Waldorf School.

I love night markets, and this one is definitely one of my favourites. It’s a lovely venue, the atmosphere is convivial, and the food is absolutely delicious (fantastic vegetarian, organic, wheat-free, etc etc options) – so I’ll be going as often as I can for this summer season.

The ideal family outing for everyone to enjoy a wonderful array of fresh, wholesome, ready to eat food, organic produce, beautiful hand crafts, clothing and art in a safe convivial atmosphere of fire and candle light.

The Night Market is thrilled to present:

• Over 120 indoor and outdoor stalls
• An free open air stage with live music
• The famous Rainbow Puppet Theatre (the only full time puppet troupe in South Africa)
• Swings, roundabouts and games for little ones.

Entrance is free and secure parking is available at R20 per car. No alcohol is sold on the premises, but patrons are free to bring that special bottle of wine to share with friends in the outdoor entertainment area.
