Constantia Country Living Market On This Weekend

Constantia Living Country Craft Market Quick plug for the Constantia Country Living Market, on this Saturday between 9am and 2pm at the Cape Academy, Firgrove Way, Tokai.

What I like most about this particular market is that the crafts and products on sale are all carefully selected for their quality. This is not a place for cheap knock-offs.

They also always have a good selection of organic goodies and the best honey I’ve ever tasted (look for ‘Gerald’s Honey’ – it’s addictive).

One of my favourite stalls is the cheese and olive stall, back in the shady area. The friendly lady will give you delicious, plump olives to taste (they’re organic and juicy and, to olive-aholics like me, completely irresistible).

Sadly, I won’t be there this time around, seeing as I’m zooming off to Elandsbay for the weekend (life’s rough in Africa, hey?), but I have enlisted my mother to go and buy me some more of that delectable honey.

Constantia Living Country Craft MarketThe Constantia Country Living Craft Market will be held between 9am and 2pm this Saturday (17 February) at the Cape Academy (Old Constantia School for Boys) in Firgrove Way, Tokai (off Spaanschemat River Road). For more info contact Jen on 021 712 2124.

  1. Hey Pia – great site, and I love the exposure you’ve been giving the constantia market (I’m the organic veggie guy at the market). I also run http://www.urbansprout.co.za and thought you might want to take a look – I’ve linked to mothercityliving.co.za as a “Green blog” let me know if you’re ok with this! Cheers, Glen
