Celebrate Life Festival 2008: A Feast Of All Things Natural, Healthy And Uplifting

Celebrate Life Festival 2008Coming up this weekend is the 2008 Celebrate Life Festival (24-25 May).

It’s an annual community-based Cape Town event providing a platform for promoting all that is ‘healthy, holistic and lifestyle-based’, with a focus on ‘all things natural, organic, eco-friendly and healthy.’

The festival features an all-day programme of speakers, demonstrations and exhibits – all aimed at tempting visitors to ‘explore ways to uplift body, mind and soul.’

And, in between all that mind-stretching and soul-feeding, you can wander the 150+ stalls and work on the body bit.

I’ve never been, but it certainly sounds like just my cup of tea.

The 2008 Celebrate Life Festival will be held at Cape Town High School from 10am to 5pm on Saturday (24th) and Sunday (25th). A programme of events is available here. Tickets cost R30 for a single-day entry, or R50 for a weekend pass.

DISCLAIMER: Please use any event information as a guide only. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy thereof, things do change – and the best way to make sure something is definitely on is to contact the event organisers themselves. Full bells’n'whistles disclaimer here.
