The lovely Casa Labia in Muizenberg has just launched ‘Picnics on the Lawn’, offering Saturday afternoon picnic hampers to couples and families who’d like to enjoy the beautiful view from the cultural centre’s lush lawns.
On a sunny day, there really isn’t much to compare to the view from that lawn – I’ve not been for the picnic (yet), but have eaten at the cafe and couldn’t resist wandering out to stare out at the sea.
The picnic hampers look amazing, full of quality ingredients which, added to the perfect setting, makes this seem to me a very tempting picnic option indeed – I can’t wait to try it out for myself!
Even if you aren’t into picnics, the Casa Labia is a wonderful spot to visit – for its contemporary South African art gallery, its delicious food, and its tranquil atmosphere. It’s located at 192 Main Road, Muizenberg.
