I was trawling through the What If The World website last night when I saw the following news:

NEIGHBOURGOODS MARKET TO EXPAND
witw is pleased to announce that our weekly saturday neighbourgoods market is set to expand in March 2007. due to overwhelming demand, we are set to double the market from 50 vendors to 100. more info coming soon
If you’re a fan of fresh organic produce and haven’t yet been to the Woodstock Neighbour Goods Market at the Old Biscuit Mill, you’re missing out.
Granted, I haven’t been for quite a long stretch now (not since September last year), but that’s because I’m ordering my organic goodies from the Ethical Co-op and am too darned lazy to fight through Saturday morning traffic to get to Woodstock/Salt River, where the market is held.
I’m happy, though, that there are obviously plenty of less-lazy people out there supporting the market, allowing it to grow so rapidly.
And I will be back.
The Woodstock Neighbour Goods Market is held every Saturday between 9am and 3pm at the Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock (373 – 375 Albert Rd (Lower Main Rd.) Woodstock, Cape Town). For more info, visit whatiftheworld.com
