Kalk Bay Fresh Etc Market

This market unfortunately no longer exists.

A new monthly fresh goods market (debut November 2008) for Kalk Bay.

When:
3rd Sunday of every month. 9am to 2pm. Dates for 2009: 18 January, 15 February, 15 March, 19 April, 17 May, 21 June, 19 July

Where:
Kalk Bay Community Centre. Kalk Bay.

What you’ll find there:
Launched in November 2008, the market will provide locals with fresh food and drink and a great view of the bay. “There’s only space for about 20-25 stalls in this beautiful circa-1906 community building overlooking the sea, but there’s lots of place for visitors to hang out on the centre’s balcony while they savour their food and look out for whales in the surf a few 100 metres away, or for them to chill in the small back garden!”

Good to know:
Parking in tiny Kalk Bay is an issue at the best of times, and could be a little troublesome over the summer season. But, if you go early, you shouldn’t have a problem.
