Cape Quarter Food & Brandy Festival
Friday 13 and Saturday 14 November from 10am to 5pm. Giggling Gourmet Jenny Morris and Alchemy of Gold bring two days of culinary creativity with the chefs and personalities from the more than 15 restaurants and specialist food stores that are on offer at Cape Quarter.
Free demonstrations make this the place to learn some new techniques and savour the foodie offerings. If your passion is food then watch the finals of the “Can you Chef? ” competition as Jenny seeks out that amateur chef who has a creative spark and can make it in the culinary world. Then watch Artful Food as the culinary students vie to produce the best sculpture representing their chosen restaurant using foodie ingredients in some surprising ways.
