And the best green blog is…

saba_logoSo Friday night was SA Blog Awards night and I went along to Chevelle (a new night club in town) for the ceremony.  I had a chance to chat a little with fellow bloggers Dax (Relax with Dax), Glen (Urban Sprout) and Dave (DaveDuarte.co.za) and then the announcements began.

I won’t bore you with the details  - all the results are posted here (or watch the video).

Unsurprisingly, though, the uber greenies at Urban Sprout scooped the ‘Best Green Blog’ award once again – well done, guys!

A big thank you to everyone who voted for Mother City Living – your enthusiasm and support is greatly appreciated :-)

  1. Hey Pia
When you told me about the event and the latest catch phrase of “Social Lubricant” that was used all evening, I just couldn’t resist:

  2. Haha! Thanks for the effort! Well, I don’t think it’s the latest catch phrase, per se – I reckon it’s been around a while – but it’s certainly the most times I’ve heard it in one evening!

I wonder whether sponsors really like being referred to as ‘another social lubricant’… hmmmm.

  3. Great picture added to your catch phrase. Love it.
