An outdoor country festival with overflowing fountains of chocolate, strawberries, delicious red wine on tap and some of the country’s favourite local artists providing the entertainment – what’s not to love?

This year’s Pinotage on Tap is only a month (and a bit) away. The popular Pinotage party is held annually at Diemersfontein Wine Farm (Wellington) to launch the new vintage of SA’s ‘original Coffee Pinotage’.  Looks like a fabulous line-up too, with musical interludes courtesy of aKING, Swing Band, Lonesome Dave Ferguson and Amaambush Marimbas.

This year’s event will take place on Saturday the 24th of October, from 2pm to 7pm.  Tickets cost R230 per person, which includes access to all of the following festival goodness:

• Pinotage friendly canapés
• XX-large chocolate fountain and strawberries
• snack-pack goodie bags
• frolicsome Pinotage games
• headlining the day (drum roll) the one and only original Diemersfontein Pinotage on tap in every increasing numbers of barrels.

Mmmm… sounds heavenly.

THE FINE PRINT: The competition closes at midday on the 26th of September 2009. Only one entry per person, please.  Prize is for two tickets valued at R230 each.  The sponsor, Diemersfontein, will be responsible for providing you with the tickets.  Please include a contact number with your entry!  If we cannot get hold of any winner by midday on 28 September 2009, we will award the tickets to a runner-up. Oh, and you’d best be over 18, if you want to get any Pinotage!
