Happy New Year!

Howdy folks, and a very happy new year to you all!
I hope that, like me, you managed to avoid the worst of the silly season by doing the mall-dodging thang and by having an unhyped (and therefore less stressful) Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
I’ve just come back from a wonderfully relaxing break up on the West Coast – the kind of holiday where you do nothing but read, swim, sleep and eat.
No checking of email, no cellphone reception, no television. No stress.
It was awesome, and I hope that you all have had similarly restful and regenerating holidays – or plan to do so soon.
Here’s to a happy, fruitful 2009!

Happy New Year to you too Pia. Sounds like an idyllic holiday. I spent hours ring-barking wattles in the heat, but also having a great time.

Hey Tracy
Thanks, yeah it was fantastic – and much needed! I hope that after ring-barking you still managed to get in some good R&R

Happy new year Pia,
Nice tomatoes! I’ve got coriander, spinach and lettuce if you want some. Let me know.

Hey Rishad
Thanks! Actually, those are last year’s crop, but the new ones are coming along now so we should be able to do a swop some time

Thanks, Jeanne! There is something about watching those tomatoes grow… who knew vegetables (technically fruit, i suppose) could be so eye-catching
